Method 1: Using the Lasso Tool,

Open Your Image: In other words, Start by opening your image in Photoshop 7.0.

Select the Lasso Tool: However, On the toolbar, select the Lasso Tool (L). If you hold down the mouse button, you’ll see options for the regular Lasso, Polygonal Lasso, and Magnetic Lasso tools.

  3. Magnetic Lasso: Click once and move your mouse around the object’s edge, and the tool will “snap” to the edges.

Close the Selection: For instance, Make sure to connect the end of your selection to the starting point to complete the loop.

Cut or Copy:

  1. To cut the selected area, press Ctrl + X.
  2. To copy the selected area, press Ctrl + C.

Paste: Above all, If you want to place the cut-out portion on a new layer or a different document, you can paste it by pressing Ctrl + V.

Method 2: Using the Magic Wand Tool,

Open Your Image: In addition, Open your image in Photoshop.

Select the Magic Wand Tool: From the toolbar, select the Magic Wand Tool (W).

Adjust Tolerance: After that, Set the tolerance level in the options bar. A lower value selects fewer colors similar to the one you click on; a higher value selects more.

Click on the Area: Click on the area you want to select. The tool will automatically select areas of similar color.

Refine the Selection: Similarly, Hold down the Shift key and click to add to the selection or Alt to subtract from it.

Cut or Copy: Use Ctrl + X to cut or Ctrl + C copy the selected area.

Paste: Paste it onto a new layer or another image using Ctrl + V.

Method 3: Photo Cutting, Using the Pen Tool for Precision,

Select the Pen Tool: From the toolbar, select the Pen Tool (P).

Create Paths: Click to create anchor points, and drag to adjust the curve.

Close the Path: Complete the path around the object by connecting it to the starting point.

Convert Path to Selection: Right-click inside the path and choose Make Selection. Set feather radius if needed.

Cut or Copy: Use Ctrl + X to cut or Ctrl + C copy the selection.

Paste: Paste it onto a new layer or another image using Ctrl + V.

These methods will help you cut out parts of your image with varying degrees of precision depending on your needs.
