Lasso Tool: This tool lets you select irregularly shaped areas of your image by drawing around them freehand. After that, hold down Shift to add to your selection or Alt/Option to subtract from it.
Magic Wand Tool: This tool lets you select areas of similar color by clicking on them. Hold down Shift to add to your selection or Alt/Option to subtract from it.
In other words, to edit your selected area, use one of these tools:
Paint Bucket Tool: This tool lets you fill selected areas with color or a pattern. Click on the selected area with this tool to fill it in.
Brush Tool: This tool lets you paint over selected areas with color or patterns using a brush tip. Choose a brush tip from the Brush Presets panel or create your own in the Brushes panel. Adjust settings like brush size, hardness, and opacity in the Options Bar.

Go to File > Save (or press Ctrl + S on Windows or Command + S on Mac). Choose a location and file name for your file, then click Save to save it in its current format (PSD). If you want to save it in a different format like JPEG or PNG, choose File > Export > Save for Web (Legacy) (or press Shift + Ctrl + Alt + S on Windows or Shift + Command + Option + S on Mac). Choose a format and settings for your file, then click Save to save it in that format.
